Happy new year folks. What a year it's been; I've met some great people and worked at some beautiful and fantastic venues all over central and the south of England. And this year I myself will be getting married too, so here's to a great 2015 - I'm already looking forward to it!
Over the past year, I've been entrusted to photograph a total of 30 events, of which 29 were weddings. Given that there are only 52 weekends in a year, this meant I had one of the busiest years, with a crazy summer schedule and my week days were largely spent on post-production. You can see from my testimonials that I still managed to deliver on customer satisfaction, and the number of referrals from happy couples (and guests!) for their friends' weddings has been unbelievable and reflects my commitment to absolute quality.
This year I earned two new awards for my wedding photography to add to my growing collection of awards. It's always nice to be recognised by the industry for my work. With such a busy year, I haven't had time to concentrate on competitions, however I feel that I have demonstrated and proved to myself that I am at a consistently high award-winning level of wedding photography over the years.
My Top Five Venues of the Year
My list of top five favourite venues of last year are, in no particular order:
As it happens, I've worked at each of those venues several times now, and Farnham House Hotel was due to be my own wedding venue until my plans had to change (but that's a different story).
I've also worked at some amazing wedding venues for the first time last year such as Hartsfield Manor (a grand Victorian De Vere wedding venue), the Nutfield Priory, Horwood House and Great Fosters, to name just a few, and I look forward to the opportunity to work at these venues again.
