Engagement photoshoot in the summer rain

Even a spot of rain on an early Saturday morning can’t stop a great fun engagement photoshoot. I met this couple in Beddington Park, ahead of their wedding later this year and managed to get some great photos for the two of them. We had a quick meeting at The Grange Bar and Restaurant afterwards for a chat about their day and they could see more of my work and view my sample albums.

Wedding in Croydon

I had my first rainy wedding of the year recently – but despite the British weather, the wedding was still wonderful and everyone had laughs and smiles on their faces. The Croydon Register Office has a lovely park opposite the building which we managed to make use of a little bit before the heavens opened. The wedding breakfast was hosted by Ponte Nuovo, a short walk away. Here are some photos from the day.

Engagement photoshoot at Beechdown Health Club

I met with one of my couples the other day ahead of their wedding later this year. We had a really good initial meeting and we had a chance to look around their wedding reception venue, The Beechdown Health and Fitness Club, and got some lovely engagement photos for them. It was a fun morning spent in the sunshine and here are some of the photos.

The bride-to-be took the time to leave me a lovely message on my facebook page too:

“Hi just would like to say [we] love our engagement photos very much and we are looking forward to the wedding photos later this year!! Thank you.”

Engagement photoshoot at The Grange

I spent Sunday afternoon meeting and conducting engagement photoshoots with couples at The Grange in Beddington Park. The park was full of families enjoying the Spring sunshine and it was a lovely backdrop for a photoshoot.

Here are some photos from the lovely wedding this weekend at the Merton Register Office. The reception was held at the Antoinette Hotel, Wimbledon. It was a really beautiful day and I’m so pleased to have shared in the couple’s fabulous celebrations. Congrats to you both!

I met a lovely couple yesterday at Valentines Mansion and Gardens in Ilford for a fun and relaxed engagement photoshoot ahead of their wedding next Spring at Gaynes Park. The weather was great and we came away with some great images, and here are a few of them.

Set for a busy year

I haven’t been updating my blog as much as I’d like to recently as I’ve been so busy meeting couples about their weddings. January and February are always peak months for wedding enquiries, given the fresh new year and Valentines Day in quick succession.

I also spend a lot of time with my existing couples too – over the past few weeks I’ve been seeing my couples who have Spring weddings to go over their day in fine detail, helping to plan the day from start to finish. One groom even said I should add “wedding planner” to my job title!

This past week I’ve had to turn down several weddings due to clashes in my calendar. With 2012 well under way, if you are looking for a photographer for a wedding this year, please don’t leave it too late to get in touch.
