Winning images are deemed to demonstrate a mixture of strong skills conbined with imagination and the capture of emotion or mood. A Bronze Bar rated image is of a high national standard, at a level above the norm of a professional photographer - something to be proud of! A Silver Bar image is generally at the top of the national standard, with a Gold Bar awarded for world class images.
